Audited 2023 Financials
Between April 17 and May 13, LWF members in good standing are asked to vote on the following motions:
- Be it resolved that the agenda of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation’s 2024 annual general meeting be approved as presented.
- Be it resolved that the minutes of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation 2023 annual general meeting, held May 17, 2023, be approved as presented.
- Be it resolved that the 2023 financial statements provided by Talbot & Associates be approved by the members of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation.
- Be it resolved that the firm of Talbot & Associates be appointed as auditors for the 2024 fiscal year by the members of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation.
- Be it resolved that Kathryn Dompierre and Amanda Karst be elected to the board of directors of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation, for a term of two years.
- Be it resolved that Claire Herbert, Frank Indome, Cameron MacKay and Greg McCullough be elected to the board of directors of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation, for a term of three years.

Our AGM is free to attend and open to all. At this year’s meeting, LWF Executive Director Alexis Kanu will provide updates on phosphorus reduction at Winnipeg’s north end sewage treatment plant and new data generated by the Lake Winnipeg Community-Based Monitoring Network. We’ll also be providing an update on federal freshwater initiatives to protect Lake Winnipeg.

Our annual report highlights the progress we’ve made towards achieving the membership, advocacy, evidence and resilience goals of our 2023 - 2027 strategic plan.
