JOB OPPORTUNITY: Director of Member Engagement

LWF is embarking on an exciting journey as we launch our new strategic plan, and we want you to be a part of it! We're creating a brand-new senior management position, and we're on the lookout for an exceptional Director of Member Engagement who's a team builder and a community connector.

The Opportunity:

Our ideal candidate is a true "people person" who thrives on connecting with new communities, is a strategic thinker, and possesses strong leadership qualities for team-building and member engagement.

In this exciting new role, the Director of Member Engagement will spearhead the development, implementation, and assessment of inclusive membership recruitment and retention strategies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building a diverse and engaged community of LWF supporters and partners. We want a passionate team-builder who can inspire and support others to become their best selves. You should radiate energy and be driven by the fulfillment of helping others achieve more.

Your Impact:

  • Build an inclusive and inviting LWF membership community that celebrates diversity.
  • Revolutionize our membership model to embrace diversity and inclusivity.
  • Create strategies that keep our members engaged and excited.
  • Craft compelling member communications and build new community partnerships.
  • Keep an eye on membership engagement metrics to guide our strategy.
  • Build and develop a strong staff team to engage LWF’s membership community.

Your Qualifications:

You hold a post-secondary degree or diploma in community development, communications, education, or a related field, backed by a solid five years of relevant work experience. Your team-building and communication skills are exceptional, and you're adept with computer applications and digital communications. Experience in the non-profit sector is highly valuable. Most importantly, your passion for engaging communities and supporting others to thrive shines through in all you do.
