LWF’s executive director Alexis Kanu is participating in First Fridays in the Exchange, a weekly tradition that encourages people to explore the galleries, shops and culture of Winnipeg’s historic Exchange district.

Join her and artist William Pura for Lake Winnipeg: Art, Science, and You to learn how art and science can collaborate to inspire change.

When: Friday, Aug. 7, 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: 237 McDermot (The Winnipeg Free Press News Café)

Note: we’ll be ending our night at Gurevich Fine Art (200-62 Albert St) for the opening of William Pura’s new photographic exhibit, Inland Sea. The show opens at 7 p.m. and will remain at the gallery until Aug. 29. A portion of proceeds of sales from the exhibit will be donated to LWF!
