Lake Winnipeg Memories is a vintage photo exhibit curated by you! Launching on July 3, this is your chance to showcase your family’s unique relationship with Lake Winnipeg. The Manitoba Excellence in Sustainability Awards recognize and honour people, projects and ideas that successfully turn the principles and guidelines of sustainable development into concrete, lasting achievements.

Get your Scottish on at this family-friendly festival in East Selkirk! Activities include dancing, piping, drumming, food, markets, heavy games, a “wee folk” area, living history displays and more.

Find us in Legacy Park on Saturday, June 24 – we’ll be there from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., sharing information about our work to protect Lake Winnipeg and how you can get involved, and selling some of our unique fundraising products!

Heading out to the lake for the Canada Day long weekend? We'll be at Charlie Wall Park on Sunday, July 2, for the Hillside Beach Community Association's Family Fun Day!

Stop by our table to chat about our work to improve the health of our shared waters, pick up free educational material and purchase some of our unique fundraising products.

We’re joining the good folks of Riverton for a not-to-be-missed homecoming weekend filled with fun for the whole family!

This multi-day celebration includes pancake breakfast, kids fishing derby, fireworks, a beer garden, contests, entertainment and lots more! (Stay tuned to Riverton Reunion Days’ Facebook page for more details.)

As part of our ongoing This beer tastes best at the lake summer series, we're partnering up with Barn Hammer Brewing Company for the month of July as they showcase Big Water, a limited-edition, Lake Winnipeg-themed gose. We'll be officially launching it just in time for the July long weekend. So join us Wednesday, June 28 in the Barn Hammer tap room where we'll be serving up some refreshing beers, chatting about Lake Winnipeg and giving away a door prize filled with LWF and Barn Hammer goodies.

This summer we're celebrating cottage life with a vintage photo exhibit curated by you!

Lake Winnipeg Memories launches July 3 at The Beach Exchange, located across the street from Saffies General Store in Albert Beach. Take a trip down memory lane and join in opening up the space.You'll be able to browse through photos and stories from around the lake and hear about our summer events that will be taking place in the area throughout the summer.

We are thrilled to launch a new collaboration with Barn Hammer Brewing Company. Big Water, a limited-edition, lake-themed gose, will be available while supplies last for the month of July. Barn Hammer’s generous co-owners Sable and Tyler Birch will be donating $1 from the sale of each bottle to LWF. Giving has never been so refreshing!

Every year, hundreds of lake-lovers come together for Walk for Water – the largest grassroots fundraising event in support of a healthy Lake Winnipeg. Participating is easy! Use our Walk for Water pledge form to collect donations from friends, family, co-workers, teammates and other lake-lovers in your life (LWF provides charitable receipts for donations of $20 or more). And then join us on July 30 for a day at the lake! Pledge forms can be found at various businesses and community centres in the Dunnottar area or online at:
